Dr. Anju Sharma, who holds a doctorate in sound healing, was recently recognized for her outstanding contribution in the field of sound healing & wellness at the Sakal - Idols of Maharashtra event held in Goa. Dr. Pramod Sawant, the chief minister of Goa, presented her with an honour.

Dr. Anju Sharma has been practicing alternative medicine and healing modalities for ten years and is knowledgeable about the complexities of various aspects of wellbeing. In an effort to cure the planet through sound and other modalities, she has founded the Happy Heart Foundation Trust. She has collaborated with numerous NGOs in Maharashtra to help women and children from underprivileged  backgrounds recover and improve their lives. Her unwavering efforts inspired the jury to choose her as one of the idols of Maharashtra.

Dr. Anju began holding free sound healing sessions onlins for people from all walks of life even throughout the pandemic. She conducted a virtual sound healing programme for the kids to soothe them and increase their concentration because she was aware of the emotions the kids were going through during the lockdown. During this time, Dr. Anju also held a session for children with disabilities and their families. Over 3000 people, including students, patients, and clients, have benefited from her therapeutic touch in regaining equilibrium and improving both their mental and physical health. Her work as a wellness researcher studying the subconscious mind and cognitive function lends credence to her abilities as a multifaceted healer. Anju Sharma is a well-known international speaker who has received recognition for her achievements on numerous stages. Along with the honours, she also received recognition for teaching Tihar Jail inmates about mental wellbeing and how to lead good lives in 2021. She was also acknowledged for her inspirational speech on Women's Day 2020 by the judges of the District & Sessions Court. With an aim to spread the magical touch of sound healing, Dr Anju Sharma recently launched her first book on healing – Brahm Se Brahmaand. The book sheds some light on what sound healing is and how it affects a person's mind, body, and spirit. Through this book, she imparts the knowledge she has gained over the years in a way that even a layperson may comprehend and read his body and use sound to treat it.

Talking about the latest achievement, Dr Anju Sharma said, "I am honoured to have been chosen for my work in the wellness and sound healing fields. As a responsible citizen and health care provider, I always seek to heal people and educate them on the long-term benefits of sound therapy. Many people confuse music with sound, so I am trying to get the word out and help as many people heal as I can.
